What are you most excited about for the coming year at your new church? The chance to preach more and to try new things that I get to be the leader of.

What are you most passionate about in ministry? Reaching new people for Christ and caring for God’s flock.

Family: I have a 14 year old daughter, who will be starting high school at Yorktown high. We have four cats. I am the main caregiver of my 83-year-old mother

What are you most excited about for the coming year at your new church? I’m excited about finding new and fun ways to connect in a new way and reach out to the community around us. So excited to meet and work with this new team to make disciples

What are you most passionate about in ministry? I am most passionate about sharing the love of God with others. Everyone needs to know they are important and valued in the eyes of God. I have a passion for youth and children and also a passion for mission … being Christ to the neighbors around us. Everyone. !!!

What was your very first job? My first job was working in the snack bar for our community pool. I also worked as a lifeguard and a concessionist at a theatre

Fun fact about you: I broke both of my arms at the same time in fourth grade. I’m writing a novel about kindness and I’ve been to the Holy Land twice.

Family: My husband Steve and I have a pretty amazing blended family. We have 6 children together. I’ve lived in Ashburn since 1998. We love to eat dinner together and share at the table about our lives, especially when we can sit outside and enjoy nature.

What are you most excited about for the coming year at your new church? I am excited about learning about my new church family and serving them in any way possible. Herndon UMC is a beautiful, welcoming, and inclusive community. Guiding them in mindfulness and the awareness of our life with God is something I would like to share with them.

What are you most passionate about in ministry? Developing deep Godly relationships, teaching God’s word and learning from others as well.

What was your very first job? I worked at my mom’s flower shop. I would help mom take care of the flowers, answering the phone and I would go with mom to deliver flower arrangements.

Fun fact about you: I love to work on remodeling projects around my house. I have traveled to different countries in the world. My favorite ones are Ecuador, Greece, and Switzerland. I am also very crafty! I love to grow veggies and care for plants.

What are you most excited about for the coming year at your new church?
Being a deacon in a local church and connecting to the community.

What are you most passionate about in ministry? Equipping people to serve where God is calling them.

What was your very first job? Cleaning at a daycare center

Fun fact about you: Our family loves to play board games and throughout the pandemic, we have made Sunday afternoon family game time.

What was your very first job? Driving a pickup truck at KOA campground picking up trash from campsites (8 yrs. old)

Family: I’m married to Reverend Anne Hough, who is a retired Elder in the Virginia Conference. We have two sons (Neil’s stepsons): Rob currently lives with us. Andrew and his wife Emily live in Norman, OK. We also have a hound mix rescue dog named Cocoa.

What are you most excited about for the coming year at your new church?
Sharing life and ministry with the Trinity Church family, growing in faith, and blessing the McLean community.

What are you most passionate about in ministry? Experiencing the life-changing power of God’s grace and helping other do the same.

What was your very first job? Church custodian

Fun fact about you: I’ve seen every episode of M*A*S*H at least 10 times.

What are you most passionate about in ministry? I love worship, missions, and preaching.

What was your very first job? I was a Life Guard.

Fun fact about you: I backpacked through Eastern Europe as a 20 something, was charged by a grizzly bear in Montana as a 30 something, roved through the American west with my wife and children as a 40 something, as far as 50 something…we’ll see.
