After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God.
– Luke 8:1(a)

I pray that in this season of Lent, you too are traveling with Jesus, remembering his ministry, his healing, his life as well as the dramatic conclusion to his life. His purposeful life and death changed the world – and changed our lives today. We are never quite certain where our journeys will take us – through a pandemic, through changes in our church world, through other people’s lives and deaths. One thing we can be certain of – if we invite him, we can be traveling with Jesus as our companion, as our Savior, as our Redeemer. As we work through a new journey from two Districts to one District, we too are inviting Jesus to walk with us. From Jesus, we all get our ultimate mission – to GO, to make disciples, to transform the world. This is the mission focus for the District as well – to come alongside each and every church as they live out that mission. Please keep us in your prayers, and we continue to pray for you and your mission and ministry. May we all have a blessed Lenten season!
