Strong Living Sermon Series (Based on Strength Finders)
God has given us a great deal. We have gifts, talents and aptitudes. We are able to earn an income and sustain our lives financially. We can even accumulate wealth and provide for our future. It is important to learn how to be stewards so that we can recognize our gifts and find ways to use our talents that bring us joy or significance in life. We want our resources to be a path to peace and wholeness, rather than make us anxious and insecure as we consider an uncertain future. The bible calls us to identify our strengths and become stewards of our resources. This series will help us make decisions about our lives that will lead to greater joy and fulfillment.

10/28 Strong Living: Discover Your Strengths           Romans 12:3-8
Paul encouraged the early church to discover their God-given talents. This is how Christians find ways to serve God effectively and joyfully. The keys to this discovery will help you feel better about you and encouraged to use your unique strengths.

11/4 Strong Living: Offer Your Gifts             1 Peter 4:8-11
10 Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms.
Part of a strong life in Christ is learning to serve with joy and purpose.
1 Peter offers unusual wisdom and insight to those who struggle to claim their abilities. You will leave this sermon encouraged and with a desire to bless the people around you as only you can.

11/11 Strong Living: Count Your Blessings                       Psalm 103:1-12
Struggling to find your happy self? Feeling anxious? Don’t miss church this Sunday when we are going to learn ways to find and sustain a sense of joy in life that others will notice.

11/18  Strong Living: Make Your Offering       Deuteronomy 8:10-18
17 You may say to yourself, “My power and the strength of my hands have produced this wealth for me.” 18 But remember the Lord your God, for it is he who gives you the ability to produce wealth, and so confirms his covenant, which he swore to your ancestors, as it is today.
God enables us to secure our lives and save wealth to provide for our future. What does it mean to remember the Lord who gives us the ability to produce wealth? Come hear how we both make provision and experience a generous life.

11/25 Strong Living: Give Thanks   Psalm 95:1-7
The week of Thanksgiving is a time to consider how we be thankful and lead our family and friends to enter the new joy of this ancient practice.
