Praying for General Conference

General Conference is April 23-May 3

The Northern Virginia District invites you to pray for the upcoming General Conference. We have prepared a list of names and ideas to help focus your prayers. We’ve paired a VAUMC Delegate/Group of persons with an idea or theme to offer you a starting point, but you may use this list in whatever way you wish.

We encourage your church to use these prayer prompts and enter into a time of prayer before and during General Conference. The Virginia Conference will be offering bios and details about each VAUMC delegate to guide your prayers beginning in April. We also encourage you to pray for all 862 delegates each day of General Conference — April 23-May 3.

We’ve created two versions of the prayer list. One is dated April 1-May 5 with a prayer focus for each day. The other is the same list of prayer topics but without dates assigned.
