Property and Closing Manager: The Bi-District (Alexandria and Arlington Districts) of the United Methodist Church is seeking a part-time Property and Closing Manager. This position works with District Trustees and local churches that are closing providing guidance in the process, assisting with legal documents, working with attorneys, and providing oversight of the maintenance of closed and leased properties. Persons applying should have excellent communication skills, good attention to detail, be a self-starter and be able to provide for their own transportation. Some experience with repair and maintenance is important. The salary range is $30-$35 K depending on experience. F/T Director of Music Ministry: Messiah United Methodist Church in Springfield, Virginia, a community of faith with an exceptional music tradition, is seeking a professional to lead the church as the Director of Music Ministry. This position will give the candidate an opportunity to oversee all musical aspects in the life of the church while continuing to grow our community. The Music Director will manage a professional team that includes an Organist/Accompanist, a Director of Instrumental Music, a Children’s Choir Director, several staff musicians, and additional contract musicians as warranted. The Business Administrator is the central administrative and operational leader for the church. The church includes the main AUMC campus and the Heritage Drive Mission Center.
