Student Ministry Coordinator
Crossroads United Methodist Church, located in Ashburn, VA, is looking for a local-area person to serve as Student Ministry Coordinator, with a passion for the vision and mission of the Crossroads community. The right candidate will be someone who is committed to walking with adolescents and teenagers on their individual faith journeys as they navigate life, within a loving, safe, and supportive community. This part-time role is responsible for organizing and facilitating student gatherings and events, which includes Sunday mornings and other face-to-face (or virtual) small groups and/or outings. The Coordinator will also be responsible for maintaining a social media presence and outreach, contributing to the Church Newsletter, preparing curriculum, and building a voluntary Student Ministry team. Qualifications include the ability to build strong relationships with students and parents/guardians, a love and passion to support students at this critical stage of life, a desire to create new and meaningful experiences for adolescents and teens, and previous experience working with this age group. P/T Director of Youth Ministry: Franconia UMC is seeking a part-time Director of Youth Ministry (“DYM”) to lead the Youth (7th – 12th Grade) and Young Adults (College Students), in our congregation and community.  The DYM is responsible for creating, implementing, and maintaining a program of spiritual formation, discipleship, mission outreach and fellowship.  The DYM will also be responsible for the recruitment and mentoring of volunteers as instruction and special event coordinators/assistants.
The DYM is required to work 15-17 hours per week.  The DYM will work cooperatively and collaboratively with, and under the direct supervision of, the Church’s Pastor.
A college degree holder with prior experience working with youth/young adults is strongly preferred.  Compensation will be commensurate with experience. 
Currently, the DYM will lead a combination of remote/virtual and some in-person meetings due to prevailing COVID-19 related restrictions.  This current format is subject to change.

F/T Facilities Manager: Messiah United Methodist Church in Springfield, Virginia, is seeking an experienced individual who will serve the church as its Facilities Manager. This is a full-time position with benefits. Though some flexibility can be accommodated, the nature of the position requires presence at the church campus during core business hours each day.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in managing the administration and oversight of work done by contractors across the full spectrum of disciplines ranging from landscaping to elevator maintenance, roofing, electrical, plumbing and HVAC. The ability to plan and schedule work, maintain paperwork, and manage contracts to completion is a must.
The candidate should also have the ability to perform routine maintenance and minor repairs to plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
