Clergy

The Northern Virginia District supports over 150 clergy, men and women who are ordained and called to perform pastoral functions (relating to the spiritual care and guidance of a congregation). These clergy include local pastors and elders.

The Northern Virginia District is committed to resourcing and equipping clergy.

Summer Learning

Summer learning sessions are designed to offer are an opportunity for clergy to connect, experience new learning and brainstorm ways to apply that learning to their congregation and Community.

Clergy Meetings

District Clergy have 3 required Clergy Meetings per year to help equip them for ministry and offer opportunities for connection.

Resource Groups

Resource Groups are geographic groupings that will allow pastors to come together to consider how to network their church’s missions and ministries in ways that will richly bless the surrounding community and their congregation.

Technological Education (Digital Ministry) CEUs

During this time of pandemic, we know that you have learned and gleaned new skills as a pastor.
